Blocking out the Cracker Packers
First, I need to finalise the Cracker Packers’ figure armatures. My models come in, one at a time, so I can compare them to the armature – many tweaks are required. I also take lots of reference photos for those times when I’m alone in the studio without the model.
Now that I’m pretty happy with the armatures, I start applying the clay, little by little.
….and as you can see, I also draft in Sandra to help me block out the clay on her figure.
