TV FEATURE: BBC Springwatch

Are you loving Springwatch too? I was lucky enough to meet Iolo and the team at Knepp Wildland at 3.15am on Sunday 24 May. We ventured out, navigating our way through the darkness by the exuberant song of a nightingale.
There’s something completely magical about being awake while the world is still dark — then hearing the first birds begin to sing as the skies lighten. Iolo was visibly moved as the dawn chorus built into a full and feisty crescendo. One of those mornings that will stay with me.
Catch us on Springwatch tonight – Wednesday 27 May – at 8pm on BBC Two, listening to the extraordinary Knepp dawn chorus and chatting on how to use these soundscapes of hope so people feel part of the natural world rather than separate to it .
You can also catch-up here for the next month (14m16s in).
