TV NEWS: Wolstenholme Elmy Way

The telling of the Elizabeth Wolstenholme Elmy story started on Monday (19 April) with the naming of the new Congleton bypass after her – Wolstenholme Elmy Way. BBC North West were there to witness the ribbon cutting and to interview myself and members of the Elizabeth’s Group about her legacy and why we need a statue of this radical visionary in the heart of Congleton.
